Amusement Parks, Bowling & Indoor Fun in Israel

For the days when it's 38°C, or raining sideways, or someone simply needs to bounce off something padded. Here's where to burn the energy — outdoor coasters, trampolines, bowling, laser tag and ice rinks — with the current state of play as of summer 2026. Prices drift constantly; treat every number as "roughly" and check before you go.

The big amusement parks

• Magic Kass — Ma'ale Adumim, 10 minutes east of Jerusalem. Israel's largest indoor amusement park: a 20-metre indoor roller coaster, drop tower, bumper cars, arcade floor and a proper Gymboree for the littles. Fully air-conditioned, which in an Israeli August is worth more than the rides. Big news: it's now the anchor of Kassland, a new resort complex opened June 2026 with a hotel, the Kass Splash indoor water park (18 slides), bowling and a trampoline zone — a full weekend under one very cold roof.
• Superland — Rishon LeZion. The classic since 1991: three roller coasters, water rides, cable car. Entry from age 2; ~98–109 NIS. Crucial dad intel: it does NOT open every day — check the calendar before you announce the trip in the car.
• Luna Park — Tel Aviv, next to Park HaYarkon. Old-school rides for age 2 through teens; ~112–125 NIS. Open Saturdays year-round and daily in July–August. Same rule: check the schedule first, apologise never.
• Kiftzuba — Kibbutz Tzuba, 15 minutes from Jerusalem. Built for ages 1–14 and the sweet spot for the under-10s: kiddie coasters, bumper cars, indoor soft play and mirror maze, with chocolate workshops next door. Roughly 78 NIS/child, 53 NIS/adult.

Trampolines, climbing & ninja stuff

• iJump — big trampoline parks in Rishon LeZion, Petah Tikva and Haifa: foam pits, climbing walls, bumper cars, and a VR coaster in Petah Tikva. Ages 3+, separate toddler zone, ~50–60 NIS/hour. You will be invited to jump. Stretch first. You're not

1. • Funtopia — fun-climbing walls with auto-belays in Kfar Saba, Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion and Haifa-Krayot. Ages 4+ (minimum 15 kg); adults can climb at the attached iclimb/Boulderland gyms while pretending it's for the kids.

• Gravity Park — indoor play/trampoline chain with branches in Kfar Saba, Jerusalem, Netanya, Ra'anana, Yehud and more; toddler zones plus bigger-kid areas. Overview
• Jump Up — Jerusalem, near the First Station: 2,000 m² of trampolines, ninja course and foam pits, with a separate 3–6 zone. Grip socks mandatory (~7 NIS — the true hidden cost of parenting).

Bowling

• Arbel Bowling — the main national chain: Jerusalem (Lev Talpiot), Herzliya (Seven Stars), Netanya (Ir Yamim), Beit Shemesh (with kosher dairy restaurant) and Be'er Sheva. Bumpers and ramps for the kids, open till late.
• Good Lanes — Mishor Adumim, 15 minutes from Jerusalem. Ten lanes, pool tables, arcade, and an actual English website — Anglo-friendly by design.
• Budget roughly 50–70 NIS a game per person, cheaper on weekdays. Also new bowling at Kassland (see above).

Laser tag & escape rooms

• Alpha Team — laser tag at Cinema City Jerusalem; indoor arena plus birthday packages. Generally best from age 6–7.
• Falcon Laser Tag Extreme — billed as Israel's largest arena, near Latrun; also does mobile laser-tag birthday parties, i.e. the war comes to your garden.
• Escape Room Israel — the national chain, 50+ rooms with dedicated kids' rooms and English-speaking game masters. Also try escaper.co.il to find English rooms anywhere in the country. ~90–130 NIS/person.

Karting

• Karting Place — Rishon LeZion: 800-metre track (Israel's longest), kids' karts and duo karts so the under-10s can terrify you personally. Junior karts typically from age ~7 depending on height; budget ~70–120 NIS per heat.
• Dan Karting — indoor, ventilated karting in Haifa (and a Netanya track). Details

Ice skating

• Ice Peaks — Holon, in Peres Park next to the Children's Museum. Olympic-standard rinks, public skating sessions daily roughly 07:00–23:00. The best cold air money can buy in Gush Dan.
• Ice Mall — Eilat: a full Olympic rink in the middle of a shopping mall, open daily with nightly skating shows. Deeply weird, entirely wonderful.
• Canada Centre, Metula — the legendary northern complex (rink, pools, bowling) was damaged during the war and Metula's rehabilitation is a multi-year project. The website is live but call before you drive north — this one's strictly "verify first."

Dad's quick-reference

Hottest day of the year: Magic Kass/Kassland — everything is indoors and arctic. Under-6s: Kiftzuba or Gravity Park. Birthday party outsourcing: laser tag or Escape Room Israel's kids' rooms. Rainy Friday: bowling at Arbel, then regret nothing. Golden rule: Superland and Luna Park don't open daily — check the calendar BEFORE telling the children.
